بيان صادر عن مشروع عدن الوطني حول الأوضاع الإنسانية والخدمية في العاصمة عدن

يتابع مشروع عدن الوطني بقلق بالغ ما تشهده العاصمة عدن من تدهور متفاقم في الأوضاع الخدمية والإنسانية، وفي مقدمتها الانهيار المستمر لخدمة الكهرباء، وما ترتب عليه من معاناة قاسية زادت حدتها مع موجة الحر الشديدة، وأثقلت حياة المواطنين وأرهقت الأسر في مختلف المديريات.

ويؤكد مشروع عدن الوطني أن أهل عدن، بصبرهم وصمودهم وتضحياتهم، قد جسدوا أرقى صور التعبير المدني السلمي عن مطالبهم وحقوقهم المشروعة، في الحراك الشعبي الذي عُرف بـ"ثورة الفرشان"، والذي عكس وعيا حضاريا ومسؤولية وطنية في المطالبة بالحلول دون فوضى أو عنف.

وفي هذا السياق يثمن مشروع عدن الوطني ما صدر عن اجتماع معالي وزير الدولة محافظ العاصمة عدن مع المكتب التنفيذي، وما تضمنه من تحذير واضح من خطورة الأوضاع الراهنة، وتأكيد على أن عدن لن تقف مكتوفة الأيدي أمام هذا التدهور الذي يهدد حياة المواطنين واستقرار المدينة.

كما يؤكد مشروع عدن الوطني أن أزمة الكهرباء، إلى جانب المياه وبقية الخدمات الأساسية، لم تعد تحتمل المعالجات الجزئية أو الوعود المؤقتة، وإنما تتطلب تحركا جادا ومسؤولا من جميع الجهات المعنية، وفي مقدمتها المجلس الرئاسي والحكومة، كل في نطاق اختصاصه، ومن المعيب وغير المنصف تحميل المسؤولية لمحافظ العاصمة عدن وحده، في ظل ما يحمله هذا الملف المعقد من تراكمات وإشكاليات ممتدة عبر سنوات، تتجاوز مسؤولية جهة أو شخص بعينه.

ويجدد مشروع عدن الوطني دعوته إلى منح العاصمة عدن وضعا إداريا وماليا خاصا يليق بمكانتها كعاصمة للدولة، ويكفل الاستفادة العادلة من مواردها وإمكاناتها في معالجة أزماتها الخانقة، وعلى رأسها الكهرباء والمياه، بما يحقق الاستقرار ويحفظ كرامة المواطنين ويعزز قدرة مؤسساتها على القيام بواجباتها.

كما يؤكد مشروع عدن الوطني دعمه الكامل لحق المواطنين في التعبير السلمي والحضاري عن مطالبهم، ويرفض أي ممارسات أو سياسات تؤدي إلى استمرار معاناتهم أو استخدام الخدمات الأساسية كورقة ضغط، مشددًا على أن من حق أبناء عدن في العيش الكريم والحصول على الخدمات الأساسية كحق ثابت وأصيل لا يقبل المساومة أو الانتقاص.

A statement issued by the Aden National Project on the humanitarian and service conditions in the capital, Aden

The Aden National Project is following with great concern the worsening deterioration of the service and humanitarian conditions in the capital Aden, foremost of which is the continuous collapse of the electricity service, and the consequent severe suffering that has intensified with the severe heat wave, burdening the lives of citizens and exhausting families in various districts. The Aden National Project confirms that the people of Aden, with their patience, steadfastness and sacrifices, have embodied the finest forms of peaceful civil expression of their legitimate demands and rights, in the popular movement known as the "Farshan Revolution", which reflected a cultural awareness and national responsibility in demanding solutions without chaos or violence. In this context, the Aden National Project appreciates the meeting of His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the Capital Aden, with the Executive Office, which included a clear warning of the seriousness of the current situation, and an assurance that Aden will not stand idly by in the face of this deterioration, which threatens the lives of citizens and the stability of the city. The Aden National Project also confirms that the electricity crisis, along with water and other basic services, no longer tolerates partial treatments or temporary promises, but requires serious and responsible action by all concerned authorities, foremost of which is the Presidential Council and the government, each within the scope of its competence. It is flawed and unfair to hold the governor of the capital Aden alone responsible, in light of the accumulations and problems of this complex file that extend over years, exceeding the responsibility of one party Or a specific person. The Aden National Project renews its call for granting the capital Aden a special administrative and financial status befitting its status as the capital of the state, and ensuring the equitable use of its resources and capabilities in addressing its suffocating crises, foremost of which is electricity and water, in a way that achieves stability, preserves the dignity of citizens, and enhances the ability of its institutions to carry out their duties. The Aden National Project also confirms its full support for the right of citizens to peaceful and civilized expression of their demands, and rejects any practices or policies that lead to the continuation of their suffering or the use of basic services as a pressure card, stressing that the people of Aden have the right to a decent life and access to basic services as an inalienable and inherent right that does not accept compromise or derogation.
